Penguin is an aquatic, flightless bird, whose wings have evolved into flippers, rather than wings.
Penguins have counter shaded dark and white plumage. Penguins feed on krill, fish, squid and other forms of sea life.
They spend about half of their lives on land and half in the oceans.
The largest penguin species is the emperor penguin with about 1.1 m tall and weighs 35 kg.
The smallest penguin species is the little blue penguin, also known as the fairy penguin with about 40 cm tall and weighs 1 kg.
